Ingredients
- 1 cup milk of your choice – coconut milk does gives it a great flavour, 😉
- 1/3 cup Chia Seeds
Method
- Place milk in a mason jar or some sort of glass jar. I find the Moccona coffee jar really good.
- Add any powder flavouring now and mix well.
- Stir through the Chia Seeds
- Place in fridge overnight.
- The chia seeds absorb the milk and swell. It is a good idea to stir through before serving.
Recipe Variations
Chocolate Chia Pudding
Add:
- 1 heaped tablespoon Cacao Powder
I have found it best to add the Cacao Powder to the milk and mix through before adding the seeds.
Sweeter tooth?
Add:
- 1 dessertspoon Coconut Syrup, OR
- 1 dessertspoon Raw Honey
It doesn’t really matter when you add the Coconut Syrup, simply just stir it through.
Chia & Goji Berry Pudding
Add:
- 1 tablespoon Goji Berries, dried
Simply add the Goji Berries with the Chia Seeds.
Cinnamon Chia Pudding
Add:
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
Simply add the cinnamon powder to the milk and mix through, then add the chia seeds.
Toppings
Add:
- Toasted coconut chips
- Activated goodMix Blend 11
